In case you missed it, earlier this week best-selling cookbook author, Alison Roman, made headlines with comments she made in an interview with The New Consumer about Chrissy Teigen’s business model in the food world.

The former Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore cover star responded with a series of tweets addressing the criticism saying, “This is a huge bummer and hit me hard. I have made her [Roman's] recipes for years now, bought the cookbooks, supported her on social and praised her in interviews. I even signed on to executive produce the very show she talks about doing in this article.”

Although Chrissy received plenty of support and an apology from Alison, Internet trolls got involved and things turned ugly. As a result, the Cravings author decided to take a short-lived Twitter hiatus, which got us thinking, what is Twitter without Chrissy Teigen? With that in mind, we decided to take a look back at some of the feisty foodie’s best social media clapbacks, because it’s not every day you get blocked by Donald Trump for saying, “Lolllllll no one likes you.”

When a troll criticised Teigen for undergoing IVF in order to get pregnant, she wasn’t having a bar of it and immediately hit back at the negative comment.

One fat shamer had the audacity to call the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model “chubby”. Thankfully, she was completely unfazed by the whole thing.

When one Twitter user called Teigen out for setting her account to private for a while, she decided to beat him at his own game.

Just in case you were unsure about their feelings towards each other, Chrissy Teigen made it clear that she doesn’t approve of President Donald Trump.

When Teigen decided to make a delicious meal of red wine braised lamb with sweet potato mash for her family, someone expressed outrage in a now-deleted tweet that she'd serve her child with food containing alcohol (which by the way, burns off during the cooking process), so she decided a sarcastic response was in order.

After receiving a barrage of abuse from vegetarians for talking about her bacon preferences, Teigen let the world know how she really felt.

If space thrones were real, we would be more than happy to have Chrissy Teigen watching over us.

When a troll accused her in a now-deleted tweet of only “eating, sleeping, shitting and spending other people's money,” the accomplished businesswomen responded with a link to her net-worth.

After President Donald Trump retweeted a hater insulting her, Teigen was quick to point out how honoured she felt.

In 2018, Chrissy shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her newborn son while her daughter, Luna, covered her with a towel. However, one Twitter user took offence with the photo and wrote, “menstruating, childbirth and sex are natural, too, but that doesn't mean I want to see pics of it and/or celebrities like @chrissyteigen taking a bath or nursing. We get it.” In true Teigen fashion, her response was savage.
