Beyonce performs "Drunk In Love" at the 56th annual Grammy Awards, 2014
Let's be honest: In our eyes, Beyoncé is already a superhero. But now (Tinseltown gods willing) she might actually become an Avenger on the big screen. Rumour has it that the Dreamgirls actress is in talks to star in the forthcoming sequels to The Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1 and Part 2 (due out in 2018 and 2019, respectively).

"We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel's existing catalogue of comic book characters," a senior Disney executive is said to have told The Daily Star. Among the characters reportedly being considered for the pop icon are Marvel favourites Boom-Boom, Blink, Tigra and Hawkeye. If she signs up for an Avengers role, Beyoncé would join a stellar ensemble cast led by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.
