Florence Pugh 'Don't Look Up' Premiere

It's not every day that Zach Braff and Florence Pugh publicly showcase their love for each other, but when they do, it's sure to be romantic.

The Little Women actress marked her 26th birthday on Monday, January 3, and Braff posted a sweet tribute on his Instagram Story to celebrate the milestone.

"Happy Birthday to this beautiful human being," he wrote underneath a portrait of his Academy Award–nominated girlfriend leaning against the edge of a pool. "I am so lucky to know you. And the world is so lucky they get to witness your incredible talent."

The couple have remained fairly private since they first started dating in 2019, but this hasn't been the first time that Pugh made a cameo on the filmmaker's Instagram.

Back in July, Braff promoted the release of Black Widow, in which Pugh stars as the younger sister of Marvel character Natasha Romanoff. Posting fan art of the actress, he wrote at the time, "Go see 'Black Widow' this weekend and watch @florencepugh save the world! I commissioned this painting from the legendary painter and comic book artist @philnoto."

Pugh has previously spoken out about her discomfort with the public's perception of her private life. Speaking with The Sunday Times in June, she called cyberbullying strangers online "odd."

"It's so weird to me to go on to someone's page and shit on it," she said. "That's so not my nature—to go and bully for the sake of bullying. It's such an odd thing that we've become OK with in the past ten years of social media. The thing is, people want Instagram to be a nicer place, they want to see nice things. They want to be inspired and they want to be happy. I don't mind you not liking me, that's absolutely fine. In which case don't follow me."
