Zoom Party For Two With The Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD

Fast and furious

No one loves throwing a party more than self-proclaimed Real Housewife of Bukit Timah Jamie QQ Wu. The Shanghai-born television producer once threw a James Bond-themed baby shower for herself, and showed up in a contemporary version of the iconic Versace safety-pin dress that put actress Elizabeth Hurley on the style map.

This time, the fashion influencer enlisted the help of Harper's BAZAAR Singapore Editor-in-Chief Kenneth Goh's help to throw a Zoom Party for Two. The duo journeyed through Singapore dressed to the nines, picking up flowers, snacks and everything else you'd need for a party in what else, but the sleek Lamborghini Huracán Evo RWD.

Design

Drawing inspiration from one of the most majestic sea creatures — the shark — it is no surprise that the first thing that draws our attention to Lamborghini’s Huracan Evo RWD is the sleek hood. Its Y-shaped headlines are fashioned onto the front splitter to achieve that sophisticated look. It also highlights new front intakes that are aerodynamically improved, as well as an updated rear diffuser that differentiates itself from its predecessor, the Huracan Evo.

Interior

Like all its previous models, you can customise every aspect of the car, including the interior. Choose from leather, alcantara or carbon skin — a trademarked innovative carbon-fire material that’s made specially for Lamborghini — as your upholstery option.

Gadgets wise, the cockpit is equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen HMI (Human-Machine Interface) that controls all of the car’s functions and that includes displaying real-time traffic information, answering your calls and getting access to your Apple CarPlay. If you’d like to spice up your ride, go for its Ambient Lighting Package, which allows you to adjust your cockpit lights to the current driving mode via the HMI.

Gear

The  Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD features a naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 610hp at 8,000rpm and 560Nm at 6,500rpm. In other words, the swanky car can go from zero to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds, reaching up to a maximum speed of 325km/h.

Furthermore, this beast has the Italian automakers’s new Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS), a system that improves oversteer control and provides better traction when exiting a corner. It has three modes that can be calibrated to suit your style — Strada, Sport and Corsa. If you’re looking to take this baby out for a casual spin, Strada is perfect. Sport is suited for those who’re into drifting (raise your hand if you’re a fan of the movie Fast & Furious) while Corsa is meant for track driving.
