Anthony Vaccarello’s YSL continues to take shape with the debut of a new video, Evening Part 1, for the house’s Spring 2017 collection. Shot in New York by Collier Schorr and filmed by Nathalie Canguilhem, the black-and-white campaign harks back to the sensuality and decadence of Yves’ prime during the 1970s. A pack of It models, led by Freja Beha Erichsen, sprawl languidly and get hot and heavy in the dim, enticingly ominous confines of an art-deco apartment. One suspects that Saint Laurent, Paris’ first enfant terrible, would have approved.
