How would you describe your style?
I gravitate towards the brightest colours. I find colour to be an instant mood-lifter, so I wear a lot of it. I also usually stack print over print. And I’m always doing crazy things to my hair.
What sparked your love for such a bold style?
I feel most confident in very bold hues and I find it hilarious, the looks I get in Singapore sometimes. When you wear something people don’t see a lot, it becomes a conversation starter. Something as simple as a lady in the restroom saying she loves my dress would make my day and I’m always willing to share where I get my stuff.
Do you have a go-to look?
It would probably be a massive dress with loafers or sneakers and a very small bag.
Any style icons?
I super love Solange (Knowles). She seems like she doesn’t care about what people say about her. Whether she’s wearing pyjamas or a ballgown, she steps out the door and she’s just a total mood.
