Titled “COACH FOREVER”, the American luxury fashion labels’ spring 2021 collection will be presented in collaboration with German photographer Juergen Teller. Pieces from the collection will be modelled by Coach Family, ambassadors and Friends of the House.
Creative Director Stuart Vevers dreams up a collection encapsulating elements of the past, present and future by debuting the spring 2021 collection alongside vintage and archival pieces. Vevers will also be repurposing key pieces from the brand’s fall 2020 collection for the virtual presentation. The Coach design team has also committed to creating environmentally-minded pieces by using naturally-dyed leather, recycled materials and mix of contemporary, archival and vintage items.
Tapping into the sign of the times, the collection was photographed in a remote location by Teller, and was worn by a cast of Coach ambassadors. It will also feature “A Love Letter to New York”, which is a special collection of pieces made by New York City creatives in support of their local fashion community.
“With Coach Forever, I wanted to celebrate and commit to creativity and community,” said Vevers. “This has been a unique time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going, challenging ourselves to work in new ways that embrace the best of the past to make the most of how we design for an ever-changing future.”
