Elvin Ng Takes Us Backstage At Star Awards 2023

At some point in your life, you would've seen Elvin Ng on your television screen. With an illustrious career spanning almost two decades, the Singaporean actor is showing no signs slowing down. The heartthrob, who's won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes Award 10 times in a row from 2006 to 2016, brought us backstage at Star Awards 2023 as he got ready for the event last night.

We also caught up with his fashion stylist of three years, Daryll Alexius Yeo, to find more about his outfit choices for the red carpet. "This year I wanted to keep the vibe sleek and sexy. Think after-dark masculine dressing that encapsulates a dark and delicious styling," he shares. The Zegna look is elegantly-cut and tailored to perfection, while the Tiffany&Co. iconic Bird On A Rock brooch in platinum featuring Morganite, diamonds and a Pink Sapphire, conveys the confident and refreshingly playful side of Elvin." Later that evening, Ng performed an outfit change and opted for a Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit in Sapphire Blue velvet with the Tiffany&Co. Bird On A Rock brooch featuring an oval aquamarine. "I wanted to continue the narrative of the first look while redefining traditional opulence and the splendour with a sexier, modern take," says Yeo. "I also decided to add a little extra decorative with the Peace Lily (technically know as Spathiphyllum) flower on his lapel pin for good luck."
