Check out 80 contemporary artworks by artists under 40

It's an exhibition, it's an art fair... it is "The Artling Pop-Up".

This unique art event happening now till 17 September brings together 16 galleries to exhibit over 80 artworks by some of the region's most promising artists — all of whom are under the age of 40. And representing Singapore are seven artists and collectives: Gerald Leow, Grace Tan, Izziyana Suhaimi, Kenny Low, Loi Cai Xiang, PHUNK, Speak Cryptic and Tan Peck Joy.

This is the third time The Artling, an art consultancy and online gallery, is putting on such a showcase, but it is the first time we are all seeing the addition of DESIGN, two salons bedecked with art and furniture to mimic a curated abode surrounded by art. The online platform has since expanded into furnishing and objets d'art, beyond contemporary art that runs the gamut from paintings to sculptures, some even made by nature (Ren Ri's Yuansu Series from Pearl Lam Galleries is a bees nest) while others are engineered like kinetic steel structures but made entirely of teak wood (Rudi Hendriatno's Long Bridge at Gajah Gallery can opens up to 420cm).

"The Artling Pop-Up" is happening from 8 to 17 September at Artspace@Helutrans, 39 Keppel Road #01-05.
