For his Gucci Cosmogonie show, Alessandro Michele was inspired by the work of the German philosopher Walter Benjamin, who had the “extraordinary ability to illuminate connections, which would otherwise be invisible.” The collection’s opulent details (think: pearls, twinkling embellishments, gladiator shoes, ruffles and feathered concoctions), sheer lingerie looks, and bright and playful ’70s-esque pieces nodded to Michele’s celestial inclinations for this collection.

Here, the streets of New York City are abuzz with the youthful spirit of these fashion madcaps—wearing fresh threads from the cruise 2023 season.
