One of the world’s most beautiful cities, Rome offers up an intoxicating mix of breathtaking ruins, awe-inspiring art and vibrant street life, making it the perfect backdrop for Singapore’s global fashion star Yoyo Cao to showcase Gucci’s fall/winter 2019 collection.

A swooning love letter to Roman decadence, Cao took to the streets of the Eternal City dressed in Alessandro Michele’s signature gender-fluid pieces, intricate tailoring in classic fall colours, whimsical printed shirts, and boxy suiting. The social media superstar completed her look with the Italian brand’s sleek and timeless handbags (including the Sylvie 1969 Plexiglas mini top handle bag, Gucci Zumi smooth leather medium top handle bag, Medium leather shoulder bag with scarf and the shoulder bag), as well as Gucci’s costume jewellery.

In search of great beauty (or in this case, a lost earring), Cao leaves her mark on the Roman capital by tossing her remaining jewel laden clip on over her shoulder and into the fountain, as legend has it this will ensure you someday return to the ancient city.
