Relive After-Hours Revelry At The Gucci Office This Holiday Season

The nostalgic campaign sees a '90s workplace become an "unlikely mixture of dance floor, nightclub and bar" for one special night

The holiday office party—we never thought we'd miss it. Thanks to Gucci's 2020 Gift Giving campaign though, we can now relive the revelry of socialising with our colleagues after hours. Set in the '90s, the nostalgic campaign sees the workplace become an "unlikely mixture of dance floor, nightclub and bar" for one special night.

Conceived by Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele, shot by photographer Mark Peckmezian, and filmed by director Akinola Davies Jr, the campaign channels the retro vibes of yesteryear and features a cast of eclectic characters impatiently counting down to the end of the working day. Dressed in ensembles from the Epilogue collection, they let loose and make merry when the clock strikes 5pm.

From cosy blankets in red-and-green houndstooth checks to shiny sequins in gold, silver, pastels and black—the campaign brings comfort and sparkle to the corporate world. Other seasonal highlights include party-ready dresses, the GG Marmont shoulder bags, the Tennis 1977 sneaker, baseball caps, bucket hats, fringed scarves, genderless mules and sandals.

In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, Gucci is also launching environmentally-friendly packaging created with strategic design choices. All paper and cardboard come from sustainably managed forest sources, are fully recyclable, and use a reduced amount of ink.

Accompanying the Gift Giving campaign is a new arcade game that will be released on the Gucci app. Inspired by the legendary Conga Master game developed by Undercoders, the latest Gucci digital creation lets you take control of an employee and join colleagues in a Conga dance within an office setting. You'll also be able to immerse yourself in the campaign environment via a 3D experience on its dedicated microsite.
