After a two- year hiatus, EIC Kenneth Goh finally makes it Down Under to visit his mum. An emotional and heartfelt welcome to his favourite city starts off with a welcome sail around the famous harbour, taking in the sights of the Opera House, Luna Park and of course, the bridge. Next, they return to one of their favourite spots for a meal at one of the oldest and prettiest beaches — Balmoral in Mosman. The promenade walk reminds him of his days in UK in Brighton. A scrumptious Aussie lunch at Bathers Pavilion completes a perfect afternoon outing. Finally, they take in the sights of Darling Harbour, a walk through The Chinese Garden of Friendship before descending at XOPP for some lunar new year feasting. Describing some of his grandma’s favourite dishes, Ken and his mum dine on the finest seafood and drink in the fairy lights made for a truly auspicious year of the Tiger.
