All The Stylish Guests At The Bazaar NewGen Fashion Awards Show 2019

Months of onerous hard work and mentoring workshops culminated last Wednesday at the Harper’s BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Awards 2019 in a spectacular celebration of Southeast Asian talent. Held in collaboration with Swarovski and supported by Zalora, BAZAAR’s fashion event of the year was presented at the resplendent Capitol Theatre, where it was transformed into a picturesque runway set like something right out of Paris Fashion Week.

While the eight finalists from Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand as well as their models were getting their hair done by Jeric Salon and makeup done by NARS Cosmetics’ gifted artists backstage, our stylish guests streamed into the venue in excitement of finding out who will walk away with the grand prize of $10,000 and a scholarship sponsored by Istituto Marangoni. No one knew who would be winning the coveted prizes as the regional judging only concluded a day prior at The Capitol Kempinski.

Our special guest performer Narelle Kheng opened the show by debuting her latest song "Blue", followed by brother and former bandmate Benjamin Kheng, who also premiered his newest song "Wicked". The duo ended the awe-inspiring fashion show with their rendition of Justin Timberlake’s "Can’t Stop The Feeling". After which, Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore’s Editor-in-Chief Kenneth Goh presented the bouquets by Charlotte Puxley and prizes to our top three winners, with Indonesia’s Kelly Valerie crowned the winner. Photo-taking and partying ensued with an afterparty, where guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of Johnnie Walker and food by Luxe Catering.
