Beneath all of Lady Gaga’s wigs, makeup, fashion, and theatrics is Stefani Germanotta—and she’s got massive talent. Not many people need to be reminded of that, but here she is doing just that at the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Dress-in-white Gaga took centre stage at the Olympic Stadium and performed a cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Aside from a tiny bit of fireworks, her flower-and foliage-adorned piano were her only theatrics, allowing her serenading, stripped-down vocals to do all the talking.
