Chanel Interprets Its Iconic Quilt Motif For A High Jewellery Collection
The French luxury brand debuts a fine jewellery collection inspired by its signature matelassé pattern
At Paris Couture Week earlier this year, Chanel unveiled a first for its high jewellery line: An entire collection dedicated to the maison's signature matelassé pattern. Dubbed the 'Signature de Chanel' collection, it comprises of 48 pieces and 11 sets of necklaces, earrings, cuffs and bracelets—all set in the iconic diamond quilt pattern that has come to define Chanel. From a deceptively simple mother-of-pearl cuff to a stunning four-strand diamond necklace, the matelassé design is placed front and centre for a one-of-a-kind jewellery collection discerning collectors and jewellery buffs alike will be sure to take a shine to.
