While the concept of a smartwatch may not be new to us (hello, Apple Watch), Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer took the idea one step further by crafting the world first luxury version: the Connected smartwatch.
Engineered along with two of the world’s most technologically advanced companies, Intel and Google, the watch runs on an Android system and is the first time TAG Heuer has developed three digital watch dials, which feature the design codes of the brand’s iconic Carrera collection, including hands, index, counters, date window and minute track.
While the chronograph dial, the 3-hand dial and the GMT dial are all available now, the watch is currently available only in the United States and a release date has not been set for Singapore. So how does one get this ingenious piece of luxury technology?
The answer: Third party shopping concierges. Some companies, such as Big Apple Buddy, are now accepting orders for the watch with all costs set out in a free quote with a minimum service fee of $40 per order. So, you’ll be able to get it faster than anyone in Singapore and get the bragging rights for a piece of groundbreaking technology.
