With its history of supporting film festivals, it comes as no surprise that Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen has partnered with the Singapore International Film Festival as the official "Festival-Time" partner for the festival's 26th edition. As part of its commitment to supporting talent in the filmmaking industry, the luxury watchmaker is not only the official partner of film festivals all around the world, but also presents an award and a grant to promising young talents to allow them to establish themselves in the industry and to pursue their art.

“We are pleased to be the Official ‘Festival-Time’ Partner of the 26th edition of the Singapore International Film Festival," said Georges Kern, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen. "For years now, we have been involved with the film business, and this significant partnership underscores our increasing commitment to the world of filmmaking and the South East Asia region."

Taking place from 26 November to 6 December 2015, the film festival is the largest and longest-running film event in the Singapore arts scene, and so far, the organisers have announced that this year's edition is set to feature two seminal Singaporean films: Eric Khoo's Mee Pok Man and Yonfan's Bugis Street Redux.
