Bold, Timeless Designs From Louis Vuitton LV Volt Fine Jewellery

The letters L and V take the spotlight

When Francesca Amfitheatrof joined Louis Vuitton as artistic director for its watches and jewellery division, she brought with her a refined eye for elegant designs from her years spent at Tiffany & Co.

Today that keen sense of wonder continues to spill over to her second collection — LV Volt Fine Jewellery — for the house.

There are five main lines to this collection: One, Multi, Curb Chain, Upside Down, and Mesh.

LV One
It’s all about simplicity and timelessness for LV One. The initials L and V are the core of the design element, where the smaller V is set with a diamond in the centre of the L, representing the heart of Louis Vuitton.

LV Multi
For this collection, the two alphabets are set apart and repeated indefinitely on rings and bracelets.

LV Curb Chain
At the heart of this offering, Amfitheatrof cleverly intertwined L and V to become a link for necklaces and bracelets.

LV Upside Down
In LV Upside Down, the initials are designed in an upside down formation to look like a vital pulse and voltage, where they represent the “spirit of rhythm and dance.”

LV Mesh
Last but not least is the LV Mesh, where Amfitheatrof stacked up the alphabets to form a mesh that resembles liquid gold, turning them into stunning jewellery that fluid and bold at the same time.
