Tiffany & Co. Named Official Trophy Sponsor For BNP Paribas WTA Finals

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has just named jeweler Tiffany & Co. as a partner at the 2016 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore, presented by SC Global. This is not the house’s first brush with the heady world of women’s tennis: in 1998, Tiffany & Co. created the Billie Jean King Trophy, commemorating the WTA’s first quarter-century and paying tribute to one of the sport’s brightest stars, who is etched posing mid-serve on the trophy.

Eight of tennis’ greats-in-the-making will face off against each other at the Finals, in what is undoubtedly the highlight of the WTA calendar. In addition to the Billie Jean King Trophy, ten other trophies will be presented, while for the first time ever, the year-end No. 1 singles player and doubles team will receive Tiffany & Co. WTA World No. 1 rings. The Finals will take place from the 23rd of October to the 30th of October 2016.
