Today is the first Monday in May, which means the 2024 Met Gala has officially arrived. Along with the attendees’ glamorous gowns and avant-garde suits—chosen to interpret this year’s theme, “The Garden of Time”—we’re also keeping a close eye on all the best beauty looks from the event’s red carpet. Blush was a huge hit on the carpet this year, worn high on the cheekbones. Micro bangs are also back this year, as seen on supermodel Ashley Graham and actor Taylor Russell, along with coquettish hair bows (a beloved trend that never really left), worn by stars like La La Anthony. For more of our favourites, read on for what BAZAAR editors consider the best beauty looks of the night, straight from the steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
