My beauty addiction started… In my teens, when I obsessed over light-coloured eyes and wished mine were too, so I used makeup to try and make them pop in different ways.
This led me to… Eventually loving how dark my eye colour is, because every single eyeshadow shade just works! I then grew a deep love for experimenting with bold colours.
Doing my makeup… Sends me to my happy place. The multiple steps, room for creativity and colours relax me, and allow me to personify my art and accentuate (and be proud of) my natural features.
I simply cannot live without… Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer. As someone with very hollow and
deep dark eye circles that don’t seem to go away no matter how much I sleep I get, it’s my holy grail! The coverage is intense and creamy, and dries down to a comfortable matte.
I never leave the house without… A tube of lash glue and tweezers. You never know when those little things start to pop off and then you’re left with only 75 percent of your lashes on your actual lids. That's been me and it’s tragic, so, never again!
Behind closed doors… I don’t just mix different shades of foundation, but formulations as well to get something just right. My current favourite mix for a medium-coverage glass skin-like finish is NARS’ Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, with equal parts of Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation.
Before going to bed… I always make sure to remove every ounce of makeup. This takes multiple makeup wipes and double cleansing, but as someone who loves makeup yet suffers from acne,
this is a crucial step of skincare.
My ultimate beauty dream in life is… To have my own makeup line and a chain of salons. My love for makeup products and artistry goes way beyond! I’m just getting started…
