Twitter Is Losing It Over Rihanna's Pregnancy Announcement

A$AP Rocky is ready to be "cool parents" with Rihanna.

In May, the couple welcomed the arrival of their baby son—marking their first child together. And now, in a new interview with Dazed, the rapper has opened up about his perspective on fatherhood.

"I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate," he told the magazine. "And I'm not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents."

He added that he wants to prioritize creativity in his son's life from an early age.

"I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what," he said. "I actually love to watch cartoons—I've watched like, Teletubbies, Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark."

Rocky also spoke affectionately of Rihanna, to whom he has been linked since December 2020.

Of their shared love of fashion and knack for stepping out in complementing looks, he said, "I think it's just natural. We happen to look good together naturally. You know, it would take a lot of work to have us forcefully match before we leave the house. Sometimes we match to a T, or we just wear the same clothes. If I buy a shirt that she likes, I expect to get it stolen ... but then I gotta steal it back."

The "Love on the Brain" singer has also opened up about her hopes and expectations for motherhood.

"It's all an exciting journey so far. I'm just taking it as it comes every week. There's always something new and I'm just taking it and I'm enjoying it," she told Entertainment Tonight in February.
