Leading fashion authority Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore and Italian super sports car producer, Automobili Lamborghini have come together once again to create an innovative virtual experience, with 2021: Fashion Odyssey, a collaboration that underscores innovation in the Singapore fashion industry.
This groundbreaking project melds the high-tech power of supercars with the breathtaking fantasy of fashion.
Featuring the designs of veteran Singapore fashion designer, Lai Chan, the special eight-piece capsule collection—inspired by the Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD—comes to life in a virtual fashion presentation that’s been taken to new dimensions with a three-dimensional extended reality set.

With the concept of 2021: Fashion Odyssey in mind, a journey from the east to the west, Lai Chan reinterpreted the cheongsam in different ways.
Determined proportions, clear contours, precise lines and pure surfaces are characteristics of Automobili Lamborghini’s design at its very essence. With this in mind, the sharp lines are accompanied by sensuous curves, smooth surfaces are contrasted with textured textiles, understated designs are ramped up with statement colours in this collection.

This collection by Singapore designer Lai Chan is created for strong, empowered women in all their multi-faceted and contrary beauty. The striking and bold hues of each look signifies the wide variety of Lamborghini colours available for customers—something that is very much part of the carmaker’s DNA. Fabrics chosen also reflect the Lamborghini spirit and aesthetics in a modern way; leather for the car's leather interior to portray power dressing and sequins for their high-octane glamour. Much like the Huracán, these gorgeous pieces make heads turn.
The collection also features mini-skirts and pants for ease of getting in and out of the car, as well as tailored pieces with sensuous curves to reflect Huracán’s signature lines on its body. There are also tasteful cut-outs and see through material used to relay confidence both of the woman and her car, plus structured shoulder pads to form quintessential silhouette and the empowered women.
