The only wedding guest who can upstage the newlyweds (and get away with it) is Beyoncé

This past weekend, the international superstar was among the many guests at the wedding of her mother-in-law, Gloria Carter, in New York City. For the romantic occasion, Bey topped the best-dressed list in a monochromatic pale pink outfit, courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana. The unconventional wedding-guest outfit consisted of a sheer corset bodysuit tucked into a maxi column skirt. She upped the ante with her outerwear, opting for a cropped jacket entirely covered in peachy boa feathers. To finish off the look, she wore narrow black sunglasses, jewel-encrusted drop earrings, strappy satin heels, and a lacy pink tote bag.

During the event, Beyoncé was joined by her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who looked pretty in a sage-green slip dress from Reformation. The Grammy winner’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and cousin Angela Beyince also attended the wedding. Knowles-Lawson coordinated with her daughter in a light pink dress with a white front-tie top, while Beyoncé wore a red-hot dress with a thigh-high leg slit.

Other than her attendance at Carter’s wedding, Beyoncé has embarked on a tour de fashion during her ongoing Renaissance World Tour. The singer has pulled off a number of dazzling designer ensembles onstage, from a vampy vinyl minidress by Courrèges to a shimmering hot-pink halter gown from her very own Ivy Park. She has also often taken to social media to show off her one-of-a-kind off-duty style, whether it’s as casual as baggy Vetements jeans or as luxe as a gold silk pyjama suit.
