Britney Spears Gets A House Visit From Donatella Versace
The singer previously said Versace was designing her wedding dress.
Britney Spears is back on Instagram—and spending time with designer Donatella Versace.
The "...Baby One More Time" singer shared a carrousel of photos and a video of herself with fiancé Sam Asghari and Versace, at her and Asghari's home.
"Look who came to visit … these 2 bad bitches are up to no good 💕🌹🌹 …" Spears wrote in the Instagram post caption Friday.
"Versacney," Asghari commented, hinting at a collaboration.
In the first photo, Spears looks radiant in a white and brown puff-sleeve crop top, and Asghari looks casual in a white cotton shirt and jeans, as they smile and embrace Versace, who is vibrant as ever in a hot pink suit and lime green top. For another photo, Spears changed into a different puff-sleeve crop, this time a white one with a black origami swan boat design.
Spears and Versace go way back. In May of last year, Versace posted a throwback of herself and Spears at the brand's spring/summer 2003 show in Milan, Italy. "I love that @britneyspears posted her favourite 2000s looks!! This flashback is from when she came to my show in 2002, looking glamorous in Versace✨ I’ll never forget when you came and stayed with me Britney, you were and will always be magical!!!!" the designer wrote.
In November, the singer said on Instagram that Versace would be designing her dress for her wedding to Asghari. On Instagram, she shared a series of photos of herself in a pink tulle gown. "No... this is not my wedding dress 👗 bahahah!!!!" she wrote at the time. "Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak 🤫 …. Have a good night folks 🌙💖✨ !!!!"
The post has since been deleted, but it looks like some sort of partnership may be happening between the two stars after all.
