Statement necklaces and chunky, coloured gemstones may have taken the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet by storm. However, a certain five-carat diamond ring on Zendaya’s finger stole the show—sparking rumours of a secret engagement to boyfriend Tom Holland, which was confirmed hours after the award ceremony.

As expected, the Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari global brand ambassador stepped out on the red carpet in a tangerine gown and a stunning high jewellery necklace and ring set by the respective Maisons.
But the ring that caught everyone’s attention was a pared-down design featuring a 5.02-carat east-west cushion-shaped diamond on a modern white and yellow gold button back setting by British jeweller Jessica McCormack—a very apt choice by Holland. While the price is upon request on McCormack’s website, the ring is within a six-figure range.
The Spider-Man actor reportedly popped the question in an intimate setting at one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States where they celebrated a cosy Christmas.
Zendaya And Tom Holland’s Relationship Timeline
Zendaya and Holland originally met and became friends on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 but denied all dating allegations when the movie and the sequels premiered—until the A-list couple was spotted kissing in a car in July 2021.
Holland hard launched their relationship on a tribute Instagram post for Zendaya’s birthday in September 2021. The Dune actress only publicly addressed him as her boyfriend a year later during an interview.

Although Zendaya and Holland have kept most of their relationship a secret over the years and only shared glimpses on social media, they have been spotted at several events beyond movie premieres.
These include an NBA playoff game in May 2023, Beyonce’s Renaissance World tour in Los Angeles in September 2023, the BNP Paribas Open in March 2024, and Holland’s run in a production of Romeo and Juliet on the West End in May 2024.
While there are no updates on their highly anticipated nuptials, we can expect to see them together on the silver screen and the red carpet come July 2026, as both are set to star in Christopher Nolan’s rendition of The Odyssey.
