Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag

Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag has been nominated for top Emmy Awards including Lead Comedy Actress and Comedy Series, while co-stars Olivia Colman and Sian Clifford are up for Outstanding Supporting Actress, and Fiona Shaw for Guest Star.

The 33-year-old actress and writer is also up for Outstanding Writer for episode one of Fleabag. Waller-Bridge's acclaimed drama came to an emotional end earlier this year, but the star will be taking it back to the stage as a one-woman show where it originally began.

The category for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series also includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, Natasha Lyonne for Russian DollSchitt's Creek's Catherine O’Hara, and Rachel Brosnahan for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey and Maisie Williams fill the Supporting Actress category along with Ozark's Julia Garner, and Killing Eve's Fiona Shaw. HBO's GoT earns a new record for a total of 32 award nominations which include directing, writing, acting, and Drama Series.

Meanwhile, Killing Eve has been nominated for Drama Series, with the BBC One show's main stars Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh going head-to-head for Lead Actress in a Drama SeriesThey're also nominated alongside Emilia Clarke for Game of Thrones, Ozark's Laura LinneyHouse of Cards' Robin Wright, Viola Davis for How To Get Away with Murder, and Mandy Moore for This is Us.

Sharp Object's Amy Adams is up for Lead Actress in a Limited series alongside Michelle Williams for Fosse/Verdon, Patricia Arquette for Escape at Dannemore, and Niecy Nash for When They See Us.

Patricia Clarkson is up for Supporting Actress in a Limited series for Sharp Objects - which is also nominated for Limited Drama Series - alongside Patricia Arquette for The Act, and British actress Emily Watson for Chernobyl.

The category for Lead Actor in a Drama includes Kit Harington for Game of Thrones, Pose's Billy Porter, Jason Bateman for OzarkBetter Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk, and This is Us's Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown.

Other British stars up for Emmy awards include Jared Harris for HBO's Chernobyl, Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw for A Very English Scandal, and Alfie Allen for Game of Thrones.
