1. He began his career as a child actor at 11
Phuwin’s journey into the world of acting began early, and rather impressively. At the tender age of 11, he made his first television debut in Sunshine My Friend, and he soon found himself playing the younger versions of lead characters in series such as Neung Nai Suang in 2015, Mafia Luerd Mungkorn in 2015, and Sane Rai Ubai Rak in 2016.
In 2015, he stepped onto the stage at Bangkok’s Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre as Friedrich von Trap in the Thai musical adaptation of The Sound of Music. Balancing live theatre with television at such a young age could not have been easy, but Phuwin managed it with the kind of natural confidence that hinted, even then, at bigger things to come. For many actors, that might have been the extent of their childhood success, but Phuwin, unsurprisingly, had other plans.
2. He holds a degree in Information and Communication Engineering
Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Phuwin received his early education at Ascot International School before continuing at Ruamrudee International School until Year 11. He then made the leap to a GED qualification, allowing him to enrol in one of Thailand’s most prestigious institutions, Chulalongkorn University, where he completed a degree in Information and Communication Engineering under the university’s international programme. Having undergone schooling in international schools, he is also fluent in English and some Mandarin.
3. His breakout role was in Fish Upon the Sky
Phuwin is best known for his lead role as “Pi” Pattawee Panichapun in the 2021 comedy series Fish Upon the Sky, where he starred alongside Pond Naravit Lertratkosum. Their on-screen chemistry was magnetic and quickly earned them a devoted following both in Thailand and abroad. Their success in Fish Upon the Sky led to further pairings, including the GMMTV series Never Let Me Go, where the duo returned as main characters, and later in Our Skyy 2 in 2023, a special series in which Phuwin reprised his role from Never Let Me Go.
While BL dramas have certainly cemented his popularity, Phuwin has made it clear that he is not interested in being boxed in. He has taken on a variety of roles across genres, a choice that relfects his growing confidence and ambition. He has sinced starred in many other series and even a Thai horror film, a far cry from the romantic leads he’s become known for.

4. He is the voice actor of a hero in Overwatch 2
In a surprising but welcome turn, 2023 saw Phuwin enter the gaming world as the voice of Lifeweaver (Niran “Bua” Pruksamanee), the first Thai-origin hero in Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2.
Phuwin was selected through a blind audition—Blizzard was specifically seeking a native Thai speaker fluent in English, due to in-game dialogue that shifts between the two languages. Suddenly, he wasn’t just on screens; he was in your headphones, healing your team mid-battle.
5. He is musically talented
Behind the screen, Phuwin is also a gifted musician. He began playing the piano and guitar at a young age, and over time, music has become more than just a hobby. He initially lent his voice to several OSTs for his television projects, but in 2024, he made things official by signing with RISER Music.
His debut single under the label, To You, was released on 19 September 2024, a self-written track that is both intimate and quietly powerful. It is a love letter of sorts, and a promising sign of what’s to come. While he hasn’t yet committed to a full album, his recent releases suggest there’s more music on the way and the fans are definitely listening.
6. He has his own clothing brand
Phuwin isn’t just wearing streetwear, he has also launched his own label, DialBlack, a brand focused on street staples like t-shirts, sweatpants, and utility bags. The name comes from his gaming alias, giving the collection a personal edge that reflects his off-screen persona.
His latest collection, titled “It Ain’t Over ‘til It’s Over”, plays with identity and minimalism. While the designs lean understated, they’ve quickly caught the eye of fans, many of whom appreciate the mix of comfort, style and room for subtle self-expression.

7. He runs an Instagram account for his cat
There is surely something inherently endearing about a man who adores his cat, and in Phuwin’s case, the internet agrees. His ragdoll, Hanabi, has an Instagram account with more followers than some influencers, thanks to her stunning blue eyes, fluffy coat, and an owner who treats her like royalty.
He is frquently seen taking her out for strolls (yes, in a stroller), and she’s even scored him a brand deal: Phuwin currently endorses Ostech, a cat food brand in Thailand. It’s an image that is hard to resist—a young and successful actor who still makes time to dote on his pet. Honestly, who doesn’t love a man with a soft spot for animals?
8. He is a brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger
Luxury fashion houses are also paying attention. In December 2024, Tommy Hilfiger named Phuwin as one of its brand ambassadors, along with fellow Thai stars Pond, Gemini Norawit Thiticharoenrak and Fourth Nattawat Jirochitkul. The campaign emphasises diversity and modern self-expression; two things Phuwin embodies effortlessly.
Shortly after, he was officially introduced as a Friend of the House by Loewe in July 2024, further cementing his place in fashion’s global orbit. He has also made appearances with brands like Cartier, Bvlgari, and Birkenstock, seamlessly blending luxury and approachability in a way that is fast becoming his signature. His presence at fashion weeks and campaign shoots is no longer surprising, it’s expected.
