Season 5

1. Kim Min Ji

Kim Min Ji, track star and fan favourite of the show. She is known as the girl that season 5 fans are always rooting for. She’s honest, effortlessly charming and is committed to finding her man. For the majority of the season, she’s had her eye set on Song Seung-il and has made it very clear to the rest of the cast members. As per the most recent episodes, she’s begun to express a slight curiosity in Lim Su Been.

Min Ji was already well known even before joining the most recent cast of Single’s Inferno, having appeared in variety shows like Kick a Goal, King of Survival: Tribal War, and Baseball Queen. She’s also nicknamed the “Goddess of the Track” and is often likened to aespa’s Karina.

2. Choi Mina Sue

Choi Mina Sue has been giving us all the drama of season 5 and we love her for it. She’s confident, magnetic, and determined to get what she wants and who she wants. While she’s upset some fellow singles in the process, Mina Sue has simply been navigating life in Inferno and giving us some good reality TV while she’s at it.

Before joining the cast of hot singles, she was crowned Miss Earth in 2022, becoming the first Korean to do so, and was also runner-up in Miss Korea 2021. In 2025, she also played guest roles in K-dramas like Law and the City, alongside Lee Jong Suk and on Melo Movie featuring Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young.

She’s one of the most talked-about singles on season 5 and is arguably the main character of the season. From her Instagram, it looks like she is no longer based in Korea.

3. Song Seung-il

Fashion boy Song Seung-il is the it boy of the season. On the show, he revealed that he works at a fashion marketing firm—which explains why he’s always giving fits! For now, it seems he has the strongest connection with track star Kim Min Ji, after exploring a brief connection with Choi Mina Sue. From his recent Instagram posts, he looks like he’s been doing some modelling as well.

4. Shin Hyeon Woo

Shin Hyeon Woo is the big softie of the season. Throughout the show, he’s only had eyes for Kim Go Eun. He even turned down a night in Paradise just because she was going with someone else. On the show, he revealed that he is a former professional athlete who now works as a handball coach.

5. Kim Go Eun

Kim Go Eun is known outside the show as a model and beauty pageant queen, most notably as Miss Korea 2022. On the show, she’s adored for her understated confidence, charm and cat-like visuals, which have Hyeon Woo, Jo I-geon and Woo Sungmin all swooning over her. She is currently working as a model and often travels the world, as seen on her Instagram.

6. Woo Sung Min

Woo Sung Min stands out among most of the Single’s Inferno contestants for having a ‘normal’ job. The reality star works as an optician, helping run his family’s optical business by performing daily fittings for customers. In the show, he’s gravitated towards Go Eun, and is vying for her attention amid the love triangle.

7. Kim Jae Jin

Kim Jae Jin is the nonchalant king of the season, and the viewers and panellists love him. On the show, he appears naturally charismatic, easy-going and thoughtful, especially towards Lee Joo Young, his strongest connection on the season. Outside the show, he’s a professional dancer and instructor who specialises in the contemporary genre.

8. Ham Ye Jin

While it seems Ham Ye Jin did not find love on the show (for now at least), to us, she’s the underrated single who deserves more attention. As revealed on the first episode of the season, she works as a freelance announcer and event host, with experience in broadcasting and on-camera presenting. From her Instagram posts, it seems that she is still slaying on the broadcasting front. You go girl!

9. Lim Su Been

Lim Su Been is one of the most talked-about male singles of the season, mostly due to his complicated situationship with Mina Sue and Park Hee Sun. While viewers found him disingenuous in earlier episodes, as the show progresses, fans have started to warm up to him again, thanks to the sweet gestures and open conversations he’s had while on Paradise dates. Outside of Single’s Inferno, he works as a model and used to be a competitive baseball player, having spent years as a pitcher before a career-ending injury.

10. Park Hee Sun

Park Hee Sun has been the unproblematic queen of season 5. Throughout the season, Hee Sun has remained focused on winning Su Been’s affections, despite his connection to Mina Sue. While it appeared pretty one-sided at first, the dynamics shifted as the episodes progressed, and now viewers are totally rooting for the couple.

Park Hee Sun is the queen of unexpected lore. In the first few episodes of the season, while she did have adequate screen time, viewers knew little to nothing about the single, except that she won first runner-up at the Miss Korea 2024 beauty pageant. It was only revealed in later episodes that she grew up in Canada and was a student at Carnegie Mellon University, one of America’s most respected universities.

11. Youn Hyun Jae

Youn Hyun Jae deserves better this season! Throughout the show, Hyun Jae has only expressed interest in Joo Young, and has actively been trying to win her over in challenges and one-on one chats. Unfortunately for him, despite a mutual attraction, it seems that Joo Young is more drawn to Jae Jin.

On a Paradise date, he revealed that he had studied abroad in China when he was younger and that he worked at an IT company that specialises in designing user interfaces for apps and websites. Pre-Single’s Inferno, he worked as a model and was crowned Mister Global Korea in 2024.

12. Lee Joo Young

Lee Joo Young is the warm and approachable girl-next-door that has Jae Jin and Hyun Jae hooked. She is impossible to miss, yet not overtly bold or loud, but rather, calm and understated. During a Paradise date, it was revealed that she works as a craft designer and artist, with a background in furniture and decorative art, focusing on flowers and vases.

13. Lee Sung Hun

Lee Sung Hun, also known as Samuel Lee, has had somewhat of a tumultuous journey on Single’s Inferno. For most of the season, he was drawn to fellow American-based single Mina Sue, often expressing his interest in her but seemingly friend-zoned in most of their interactions. In the later episodes, he spent the night in Paradise with Hee Sun and revealed that he worked as a quantitative trader in New York and is a graduate from UC Berkeley.

14. Lee Ha Eun

Lee Ha Eun was introduced to us as a game changer in episode five. While she has not gotten much screen time, she seems to have a warm and playful personality. On her first night, she paired up with Sung Min and Jae Jin for a night in Paradise, and revealed that she works as a model and hip-hop dancer, and was a former idol trainee.

15. Jo I-geon

Jo I-geon was also a late entrant into Single’s Inferno season five, immediately shaking up dynamics on Inferno with his instant and undeniable chemistry with Go Eun. Pre-Single’s Inferno, the actor and model starred in The Trunk with Gong Yoo and Someday of Me.

Season 4

1. Lee Sian

Lee Sian was the main character of season four and probably the most memorable of the cast. Even before joining the show, she was already known in the K-pop scene for her participation in idol survival programmes Idol School and Produce 48. On the show, she was involved in a love quadrangle with Yuk Jun Seo, Jang Theo and Kim Jeong Su.

She ended up leaving Inferno with Jun Seo, but the two have remained private about their romance post-show, and it’s unclear whether they are still together. Judging from her Instagram, she is now a fashion and beauty influencer— she attended Chloé’s winter 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week.

2. Yuk Jun Seo

Whether you love him or love to hate him, visual artist and actor Yuk Jun Seo was undeniably one of the most talked-about contestants on the show. His journey on the dating show was full of drama, mostly from the complex four-person love quadrangle between himself, Kim Jeong Su, Theo Jang and Lee Sian stuck in the middle. Despite all their trials and tribulations, Jun Seo ended up leaving with Sian.

The pair have remained quiet about their romance post-show. Jun Seo has also continued to pursue his passion for art and had a solo exhibition titled “Cranium” at the Geumho Albert Cultural Space in Seoul in January 2025. Most recently, he was also on a survival reality show called I Am Boxer.

3. Bae Ji Yeon

Bae Ji Yeon emerged as one of the fan favourites of season four, thanks to her distinctive charm and unwavering self-confidence. Her journey on the show was marked by a few unique challenges, with many viewers speculating that her initial isolation and lack of interest from fellow contestants were influenced by her not adhering to Korean beauty standards with her tanned skin. Despite that, she garnered support from the viewers and was eventually romantically linked with DJ and model Kim Tae Hwan. The pair were at first fan favourites, however, as the show progressed, their interactions began to seem less genuine from Tae Hwan’s side. They did end up leaving Inferno together.

Post-show, Ji Yeon remains a spatial designer, model, and influencer but has maintained a relatively low profile when it comes to her personal life. While there are no IG-official post-show updates as to the status of their relationship, many fans believe that they are no longer together.

4. Kim Tae Hwan

Model, DJ and former actor Kim Tae Hwan was sort of the underdog of the season. At first, viewers perceived him as self-centred but slowly began to warm up to him as he explored his relationship with fan favourite Bae Ji Yeon. Despite his true intentions seeming not entirely genuine to Ji Yeon and the viewers, the two ended up leaving the island as a couple. Following the show, many fans suspect that the couple is no longer together.

Post-show, Tae Hwan has been one of the more low-key contestants. He has not posted on Instagram since the show, besides a few stories promoting his DJ sets.

5. Jung You Jin

Jung You Jin was the bubbly golden retriever of this season. From the get-go, viewers were enamoured with her innocent approach to romance and her authenticity throughout the show. You Jin ultimately left Inferno solo despite forming connections with actor Jang Theo and cafe owner Kim Jeong Su.

Since the conclusion of the show, You Jin has continued to pursue her passion for dance and has also bagged plenty of campaigns for Korean beauty brands.

6. Jang Theo

Jang Theo was one of the standout contestants form the get-go, winning over viewers with his extroverted personality and charming gestures towards his first Paradise date, Sian. During the show, he formed connections with Sian and You Jin, ultimately choosing Sian as his one and only pick. Sadly for Theo, this was not reciprocated and he ended up leaving the show single.

Following Single’s Inferno, Theo has been actively advancing his acting career and is set to star in an upcoming film, Finding Santos.

7. Kim Min Seol

Kim Min Seol was the underdog of the season and a slow-burn fan favourite. While many viewers perceived her as a “mean girl” at the start, she went on to showcase her authenticity, witty sense of humour, confidence and loyalty to her Inferno crush, Jun Seo. Despite her staying committed to pursuing a relationship with Jun Seo, he chose to leave the island with Sian, leaving Min Seol single.

Post-show, the reality star has been doing lots of travelling and modelling, but it is unclear if she has continued to pursue her pre-show job as a sports broadcaster.

8. Kook Dong Ho

Kook Dong Ho was a silent player at first, but it wasn’t until he made a connection with Kim Arin that it snowballed into romantic connections with other contestants Park Hae Lin and Jung You Jin. While he had briefly explored multiple connections, he ultimately pursued a relationship with Arin, leading them to be one of the most popular couples on season four.

Since the show’s conclusion, many fans have speculated that the couple may still be together from their social media activity, interactions and suspected matching couple rings

9. Kim Arin

Lifestyle YouTuber and influencer Kim Arin had a relatively drama-free experience on Single’s Inferno. Her journey only involved one romantic interest, financial officer Kook Dong Ho. Their connection progressed slowly at first, with each of them getting to know other contestants when the show kicked off. However, as the show progressed, the pair sat down for a deeper conversation, expressing their true feelings and eventually leaving the show together.

After the show, Arin has continued to pursue her modelling career, as well as uploading regular content on YouTube. As for the lovebirds, while neither of them have officially confirmed the status of their relationship, their social media interactions and spotted matching couple rings have led viewers to believe that they may still be together.

10. Kim Jeong Su

Cafe owner Kim Jeong Su was a relatively complex contestant, according to many viewers on social media. At first, many were charmed by his sweet gestures towards Sian on their first date in Paradise, but public opinion changed as episodes progressed. Given that he was one of three men caught in the race to win Sian’s heart, his interactions, according to viewers, were perceived as controlling and possessive, leading him to be labelled as somewhat of a ‘lovebomber’.

Post-show, in addition to managing his various F&B businesses, he has ventured into modelling and influencing.

11. Ahn Jong Hoon

Ahn Jong Hoon joined Single’s Inferno as a ‘game-changer’, alongside Park Hae Lin as a means to spice things up on the show. That being said, the addition of Jong Hoon did quite the opposite, in a positive way. While he seemed to have limited screen time, viewers adored him and former Miss Korea Park Hye Jin as a couple—they were drama-free, wholesome and successfully left the island hand in hand.

After the show, the couple has kept fans on their toes, with both remaining quiet about the status of the relationship, but his interactions with Hye Jin and fan edits on social media are just enough to keep fans wondering.

12. Park Hae Jin

Former Miss Korea and model Kim Hye Jin was one of the more low-key yet adored contestants on the show. Throughout the show, she remained self-assured and genuine about her approach to finding a romantic connection. She ended up leaving the show with late entrant Ahn Joon Hoon.

After the conclusion of the show, she has pursued a career as a beauty and fashion influencer. Like all the other Inferno couples, Hye Jin and Joon Hoon have not confirmed the status of their relationship. However, Jong Hoon has shared fan edits of their relationship, so there is a chance that they are still together.

13. Park Hae Lin

Park Hae Lin entered the show as a ‘game changer’ brought in to stir up some drama, appearing halfway through the show on episode five. She shared a connection with Kook Dong Ho and shared a Paradise date with him. However, in the finale, Dong Ho chose to leave with Arin, leaving Hae Lin single.

After the conclusion of the show, Hae Lin has continued to pursue an acting career, making appearances in K-dramas Tarot and When the Silver Bell Rings.

Season 3

1. Hazel Choi

Hazel Choi won the audience over in season three with her bright personality and ever-present radiant smile. Aside from being a model, she was also a student at Ewha Woman’s University and Durham University, and a YouTube vlogger. From the beginning, she found herself entangled in a convoluted romantic dynamic with Lee Gwan Hee, but her grace and poise in handling conflict earned her widespread praise and adoration from the fans.

Since leaving the show, she has continued with her modelling career, graduated from Durham, and is travelling the world while documenting her journey online.

2. Lee Gwan Hee

Lee Gwan Hee was undeniably the breakout star of season three. A professional basketball athlete exuding confidence from his every pore, he was the life of the party on Inferno; always loud, funny, and at times, even controversial. His self-confidence and tendency to keep his options open while chatting with the contestants sparked polarising debates amongst the viewers. Despite this, he ultimately left Inferno with Hazel.

Post-show however, he has clarified in a video update on his YouTube channel that he and Hazel are no longer seeing each other as he preferred a relationship where he and his partner see each other every day but Hazel was returning to the UK to complete her studies while he pursued his own career in Changwon, South Korea.

3. Kim Gyuri

The undisputed ‘It Girl’ of Season three, Kim Gyuri has often been likened to season one’s Song Ji A by many of the viewers, turning heads from the moment she stepped onto Inferno. A runner-up in Miss Korea 2022 and a successful model, she brought elegance and confidence to the drama-packed season as she quickly found herself in a love triangle with Park Min Kyu and Choi Min Woo, but ultimately chose to leave as a couple with Min Kyu in the finale.

Post-show, Gyuri has continued her modelling work and influencer career, attending brand event, as well as posting vlogs and her personal life on her YouTube channel, GYUReplay.

4. Park Min Kyu

With broad shoulders and a towering height, Min Kyu impressed viewers with his unwavering loyalty and calm nature, making him a quick fan-favourite of the season. The police officer in the Korean Coast Guard’s Special Rescue Team initially showed interest in Yun Ha Jeong but ultimately formed a deeper connection with Gyuri. Despite Gyuri’s initial indecision, they eventually left Inferno with one another.

Since the show, Min Kyu has maintained a low profile and has chosen to focus on his career instead. While there is no confirmation of the relationship between Gyuri and him, it is speculated that they are not seeing each other, as they have not mentioned each other or been seen together.

5. Yu Sieun

The 27-year-old freelance model and first runner-up for Miss Korea 2022 captivated viewers’ hearts with her gentle demeanour and her resemblance to BLACKPINK’s Jennie and IVE’s Jang Wonyoung. She formed an early connection with Choi Min Woo, and the two chose each other in the finale without having ever gone to Paradise together, in a series first.

After Inferno, she has continued to build her modelling career and posts regular updates on social media as well as YouTube, where she makes content with Cho Min Ji occasionally. She and Min Woo appear to have maintained close relations, but it is unclear if they are currently still together.

6. Choi Min Woo

One of the youngest contestants on season three, Choi Min Woo stole the hearts of the viewers with his shy and quiet charm and introverted personality. The 24-year-old model formed a strong connection with Yu Sieun, and they are the first to have left the finale without having ever visited Paradise as a pair.

The two have remained close after the show, posting with each other on social media, albeit inconsistently; with some fans believing that they are no longer dating although that is not confirmed at the moment.

7. Yun Ha Jeong

Yun Ha Jeong, an office worker at a medical clothing company, brought a mix of charm and assertiveness to season three’s Inferno. She was known for her bold personality, playful back-and-forth with Gwan Hee, and iconic ‘chin move’. Ha Jeong formed a connection with actor Yun Ha Bin, which fizzled out quickly, but more prominently, she was caught in a love triangle with Lee Gwan Hee and Hazel Choi.

Eventually, she left Inferno single and kept a relatively low profile, focusing on her career and occasionally sharing glimpses of her life on Instagram.

8. Yun Ha Bin

Yun Ha Bin brought a calm and introspective energy to the season, as a 31-year-old professional actor who had previously appeared in the K-drama My Demon and web series Our D-Day. Throughout his time in Inferno, he formed a connection with Yun Ha Jeong, but their relationship unfortunately did not progress, and he left Inferno single.

Since the show, Habin has maintained a low profile, focusing on his acting career, expanding into modelling and sharing updates on his life on social media.

9. Cho Min Ji

An Economics major at Ewha Woman’s University, runner-up in Miss Korea 2021, model, and aspiring television anchor, Cho Min Ji joined the season as a surprise arrival, immediately stirring and reshaping the dynamics in Inferno. Despite her late arrival, she managed to form a connection with Lee Gwan Hee. Their relationship was marked by highs and lows, leading to the memorable scene where she was seen crying into Min Kyu’s shirt on the helicopter.

Since leaving Inferno single, she has also maintained a low profile, focusing on her studies and sharing updates on social media.

10. Lee Jin Seok

Both in age and demeanour, Lee Jin Seok was one of the more mature contestants on season three, best known for being honest and forward. Despite having chiselled and muscular features like a fitness instructor, it was revealed that he is a cafe owner with multiple bakeries across Seoul and Daegu. He quickly built a connection with Pilates instructor An Min Young but their relationship had its share of ups and downs including when Jin Seok showed brief interest in newcomer Cho Min Ji.

He ultimately left the show with Min Young. The two remain friendly and occasionally interact on social media although it is not confirmed if they are still together or not.

11. An Min Young

The sunshine of season three, An Min Young was cheerful and effortlessly charming in her own way. A Pilates studio director and instructor, and former Miss Korea Busan in 2023, she brought warmth and bright smiles to the heated tension in Inferno. Opening up to Gwan Hee in the earlier episodes, she was caught in the crosshairs of his shifting and inconsistent affections. She eventually left the show paired with Lee Jin Seok, who had expressed interest in her for a large number of episodes, but it is speculated that they are not dating anymore, although they still keep in touch.

Since the show, she has kept busy with her Pilates business and has grown a solid fanbase on social media, where she shares wellness content and little glimpses into her everyday life

12. Son Won Ik

Son Won Ik surprised everyone with his optimistic, honest and sincere boyish charm. However, the real estate agent did not manage to form any long-lasting connections on the show and left Inferno single.

A post-show YouTube video with cast member Hazel Choi showcased surprising chemistry between the two, leading fans to speculate about their relationship. He remains active on social media where he is seen to be an avid marathon runner and occasionally models.

Season 2

1. Nadine Lee

A Harvard graduate holding a degree in neuroscience, Nadine Lee may well be the definition of ‘beauty and brains’. Prior to joining Single’s Inferno, she was a research assistant at a hospital. On the show, she was unafraid to be honest about her intentions and thoughts. She was even praised by viewers for her emotional intelligence when dealing with various scenarios.

Despite signs of a romance sparking between Lee and fellow contestant Shin Dong Woo, with the two even going to Paradise together, they quickly realised they were better off remaining as friends. Ultimately, she left the show alone.

Now, she seems to be focusing on being a fashion and beauty influencer, frequently sharing snippets of her life through YouTube vlogs and TikTok videos, and working with brands such as Chanel and Charlotte Tilbury.

2. Shin Dong Woo

Shin Dong Woo was known for his calm, grounded personality on the show. He was respectful to other contestants and often displayed introspection, taking time to reflect on his feelings instead of acting irrationally—but some fans believe he was leading Nadine on. While Shin tried to connect with a few contestants on the show, one of them being Lee, he was solely interested in Shin Seul Ki, despite her lack of reciprocation. He did not leave hand-in-hand with Lee or anyone from Single’s Inferno.

However, Shin and Lee remain friends, with fans spotting the two occasionally at gatherings together.

3. Choi Seo Eun

Choi Seo Eun is known among Single’s Inferno fans for her bright and charismatic personality. Her vibrant character also contributed to her popularity with those on the show. Before coming on to the show, she was a frequent pageant competitor and majored in fine arts at Pratt Institute’s School of Art in the USA.

Her journey in Inferno resulted in a happy ending, as she left with Jo Yoong Jae, but signs pointed to the relationship coming to an end after a little over a year together. No doubt an impressive feat nonetheless, for contestants of the dating show.

4. Jo Joong Jae

Jo Yoong Jae was probably the most popular guy among the girls on the show. Known for his charismatic, laid-back personality, he was liked for his playful and lighthearted nature. Despite his fun-loving attitude, he also revealed a more sincere and considerate side of him when expressing his feelings and intentions.

Despite ending up with Choi Seo Eun at the end of the show and being in a relationship with her for a year, fans believe they are no longer together in real life as they noticed that pictures of Choi were removed from his Instagram account. His last post on the platform was in October 2023, so it is safe to assume that he has gone back to living his life as an investment broker after flirting with the spotlight.

5. Shin Seul Ki

Shin Seul Ki was one of the contestants who stole the hearts of viewers, as a warm and approachable person who maintained a composed yet genuine ease in her interactions with others. Among the contestants, she was known for her kind heart and thoughtful nature, as seen from how she never shied away from expressing her feelings. While she left Paradise with Choi Jong Woo, Choi clarified post-show that the pair have always been friends instead of romantic partners.

Since appearing on the show, she has been building a promising acting portfolio, including a minor role in The Haunted Palace (2025).

6. Choi Jong Woo

On Single’s Inferno, Choi Jong Woo came across as a person who wears his heart on his sleeve, consistently expressing his feelings with honesty and vulnerability—especially in his pursuit of capturing Shin Seul Ki’s heart. His easygoing personality, sense of humour, and genuine care for others made him one of the more endearing and relatable contestants.

He left the show with Shin Seul Ki, but revealed that they had never dated in real life. After the show ended, Choi continues to work as a barista at a café run by him and his parents.

7. Lee So E

Another contestant-turned-actress is Lee So E. Before starring in the show, she was a student at Hanyang University, majoring in Theatre and Film, with a focus on acting. Although she displayed strong determination when she was constantly approaching Jo Yoong Jae, her actions on Inferno elicited mixed reactions from viewers, who thought her to be manipulative.

After hitting a dead end with Jo, she soon built a connection with latecomer Kim Se Jun, whom she left the show with. However, she and Kim did not end up together in real life. Since Singles Inferno ended, she has been taking up roles as an actress, starring in dramas like The Glory (2022-23).

8. Kim Se Jun

Kim Se Jun was known for his carefree, friendly personality that made everyone on the show feel comfortable with him. A late entrant, he also stood out for his sleek sense of style. In the show, he mentioned to Lee So E that he also tailor-made all of his outfits in Single’s Inferno, which comes as no surprise since he works at Oh Jin Taek’s tailor shop in Gangnam, Seoul.

Although Kim and Lee So E enjoyed Paradise together and left as the final couple of the season, the romantic relationship between them did not last but they still share a close relationship as friends.

9. Park Se Jeong

Park Se Jeong was perhaps the boldest woman on season two of Single’s Inferno. While on the show, the limelight was briefly on Park for her striking visuals; she was even the person whom three guys (Jo Yoong Jae, Shin Dong Woo, Kim Se Jun) were initially attracted to at first. Despite this, the former film arts student at Sejong University did not find her mister right on the island.

After leaving the show, Park has continued working as a model for YG Entertainment‘s subsidiary label, KPlus. More recently, she landed a main role in the web drama, Love Wave.

10. Kim Jin Young

Kim Jin Young, also known as Dex, has made a name for himself beyond Single’s Inferno. In the show, he was interested in Shin Seul Ki from the start but she chose Choi Jong Woo instead. He initially received significant attention from other girls on the show, one of whom was Nadine Lee, but eventually, every connection just did not work out. Although Lim Min Su invited him to Paradise twice, their chemistry fizzled out and he left the show alone.

Now an entertainer and actor, Kim has appeared in various shows ranging from survival series to dramas—slowly becoming a rising figure in Korean entertainment. He’s also a commentator on the Single’s Inferno panel, offering viewers an insider’s POV into the show as a former contestant.

11. Lim Min Su

Unfortunately dubbed the “villain” of season two, late entrant Lim Min Su was not a favourite among most fans. Persistent in coupling up with Kim Jin Young, her efforts were seen as ill-intentioned, with an ulterior motive to hurt Nadine Lee who was getting close to Kim at the time. However, many also argued that she was misunderstood as she simply may not have wanted to get acquainted with the other guys once her mind was set on Kim.

Prior to joining the show, she was a student at Duksung Women’s University. After leaving the show without a partner by her side, she continues to manage her own online clothing business, Blue Min, on Naver and occasionally does freelance modelling.

Season 1

1. Song Ji A

Song Ji A is THE Single’s Inferno girl. The model-influencer turned heads the moment she stepped foot onto inferno, with her mesmerising presence, unwavering confidence and a full-on designer closet. Her allure didn’t go unnoticed, captivating the attention of three male contestants, namely Choi Si Hun, Cha Hyun Seung and Kim Hyeon Joong—all of whom decided to choose her in the season one finale. She ultimately decided to leave with Kim Hyeon Joong, but they broke up after the show, as confirmed by Ji A on her YouTube channel.

After the show concluded, Ji A was catapulted to worldwide fame, but she came under fire for wearing counterfeit goods on the show and on her social media. Three years later, she still consistently makes YouTube content, secures brand deals and remains the most followed contestant on the show.

2. Kim Hyeon Joong

Fitness model and personal trainer Kim Hyeon Joong was one of the standout contestants of season one, thanks to his quiet confidence and unwavering affection for Song Ji A. While Ji A’s connection with her other love interests, Choi Si Hun and Cha Hyun Seung, garnered lots of screen time, fans mainly rooted for the Ji A and Hyeon Joong ship, as he hadn’t explored other connections and was a one-woman guy. The pair did end up leaving together in the season finale. However, their relationship did not last post-show.

Following his appearance on the show, Hyeon Joong has continued to pursue his passion in fitness and started new ventures. He has since established his own gym Mood Gym and a skincare line Abits.

3. An Yea Won

Despite her lack of screen time, fitness instructor An Yea Won won fans over with her bubbly personality, optimism and dazzling visuals. On Inferno, she connected with F&B business owner Kim Jun Sik and briefly with Cha Hyun Seung. Throughout the show, Yea Won was only able to experience Paradise just once, with Jun Sik, whom she left the show with.

It was revealed in a YouTube Q&A that the pair are no longer together, but still remain good friends. Yea Won is now a YouTuber and a regular star on SBS’s women football variety show Kick a Goal.

4. Kim Jun Sik

The CEO of a health food start-up, Kim Jun Sik was best-known for his calm persona and exceptional culinary skills on the show. He formed a romantic connection with fitness model An Yea Won during the show. However, they did not continue the relationship after the show had aired, as confirmed by Yea Won on her YouTube Channel.

Following his time on the dating show, Jun Sik has expanded his business by opening up Kamee Garden, a restaurant and event space. He also remains active in the fitness modelling industry.

5. Kang So Yeon

Former idol, fitness model and entrepreneur Kang So Yeon was one of the standout contestants of Single’s Inferno season one. Throughout the show, she only had eyes for one person, Oh Jin Taek. The two seemed to be one of the more promising couples of the season—they had chemistry and stayed loyal to each other till the finale.
