There are celebrity weddings, and then there is the Taylor Swift wedding, which is already a full-scale internet sport; complete with theories, timelines, and venue rumours to keep Swiftie group chats awake till 2am.
At the time of writing, Swift and Travis Kelce have not confirmed an official wedding date, though 3 July has been widely rumoured online. What we do know is that the world will be watching. More specifically, the fashion world will be watching the dress...or dresses, because after all, this is Taylor Swift: a pop star who understands the power of how dressing can build an entire mythology around eras and visual storytelling.
So who will design Taylor Swift’s wedding dress? No one outside the inner circle knows for sure. That, of course, has never stopped the internet. Based on recent style clues, past fashion relationships and the kind of bridal language each house is known for, these are the six designers we think could be in the running.

1. Dior
Dior haute couture spring/summer 2026
Let us begin with the theory with Dior. Swift has been seen carrying bags from the French House recently, which has naturally led to speculation that she may be spending time with Jonathan Anderson in the lead-up to the wedding. Dior also makes sense for more than just the recent sightings, as Anderson’s tenure at the brand has given it a new creative charge. A Dior wedding gown could bring couture grandeur without feeling too predictable.
2. Nicole + Felicia
Nicole + Felicia is an easy bet, if we had to put money on it. Swift already has a meaningful history with the Taiwanese couture house, having worn the brand in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video and on the “Eras Tour”. That matters, because Swift often returns to collaborators who understand what she likes. Nicole + Felicia is also known for bridal couture, specialising in gowns with volume, sparkle, texture and a sense of occasion, all of which sit neatly within Swift’s own love of romance and spectacle.

3. Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood bridal spring/summer 2026
Vivienne Westwood feels like the wild card that is not really a wild card. The British house is already a bridal favourite, beloved for its corseted silhouettes, sculptural draping and romantic sense of rebellion. It also has a strong link to Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” era, having dressed her for that section of her sell-out world tour and in the “Fortnight” music video. A Westwood wedding dress would not be the safest option, but it could be one of the most memorable. The house’s corsetry would suit Swift beautifully, while its slightly unruly romance would add depth to a bridal look that millions will inevitably dissect.
4. Schiaparelli
Schiaparelli spring/summer 2026
If Swift wants her bridal look to come with a twist, Schiaparelli might be the designer of choice. She has worn custom designs from the brand before, most notably at the Grammys, where the French House gave her a monochromatic, sculptural look. Under Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli has become a red carpet favourite for celebrities who want elegance with a little surrealist voltage.

5. Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2026
Perhaps Ralph Lauren might be the most obvious contender. When Swift and Kelce announced their engagement, both wore Polo Ralph Lauren, instantly placing the brand within their public love story. Engagement photos become part of a couple’s archive forever, and the case for Ralph Lauren is simple: it understands Americana and romance. The brand’s world is polished, warm and cinematic, with the kind of ease that fits both Swift and Kelce as a couple. It also dresses men beautifully, which makes it a strong contender for the overall wedding wardrobe, not just the bridal gown.
6. Oscar de la Renta
As a House, Oscar de la Renta has long been associated with romance, polish and gowns that make sense on the wedding aisle. Swift has worn Oscar de la Renta many times over the years, which gives this prediction a real foundation beyond general bridal goodwill. And while the house is currently in a period of transition after Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia’s departure, the brand still remains a major bridal force, having showed at the fall/winter 2027 edition of bridal fashion week.
