Let’s start with a question. What does power look like in 2025? Is it the boardroom boss girl in a sharply belted, broad shouldered Saint Laurent suit? Or the wellness entrepreneur sweating through a vinyasa flow with her community? Or maybe, it’s a woman quietly leading a revolution in education or branding, without the need for hashtags or headlines.

These women are the real deal in our Power List—nine exceptional women who are reshaping business, culture and the conversation around what power really means when it’s rooted in purpose. They’re all based in or born in Singapore, but their impact is global. Meet Crystal Lim-Lange, who redefines leadership as self-mastery, and Jaime Lee, who turned a humble planner into The Paper Bunny, a lifestyle brand with cult appeal. Fitness maven Alicia Pan builds not just bodies but communities. And Dione Song? She’s scaling Love, Bonito with grace, empathy and a deep understanding of real women’s lives. Each story feels grounded and personal. None of these women are interested in cookie-cutter success. And frankly, neither are we.

Fashion, meanwhile, is leaning into drama and depth. In “This Just In”, Aaron Kok reasons why the fall/winter 2025 runways are wild with feral furs, librarian flair and bodysuits that dare you to look twice. Glamour is having a resurgence, but this time with edge, intent and a glimmer of rebellion. Which brings me to Emilia Petrarca’s piece, “Sparking the Sparkle”. A beautiful meditation on modern glamour, it reminds us that real style isn’t about playing dress-up. It’s about cultivating attention, curiosity, and a little ceremony in how we move through the world. Glamour, she argues, is effort— and that’s what makes it worth noticing.

So whether you’re leading a team or just trying to lead yourself out of burnout, I hope this issue reminds you that power doesn’t have to be loud. It’s thoughtful, evolving, and deeply human. And that’s what being stylish is all about.
