Over the past decade, there have been many brides that have walked down the aisle. From Amal Clooney to the Duchess of Sussex, we chart the most memorable brides.

2019 - Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber

Model Hailey Bieber, formerly known as Hailey Baldwin, revealed that she actually wore three dresses during her wedding celebrations with Justin Bieber. She walked down the aisle in a custom-made lace gown by Off-White, with a dramatic veil with “Till death do us part” stitched on the hem.

2019 - Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling

Ellie Goulding married Caspar Jopling in a bespoke Chloé gown, which featured a lace-adorned ruffle collar and sweeping silk tulle veil - embroidered with the couple's initials. Goulding's wedding dress and radzimir petticoat also featured hand-stitched White Roses of York, a sweet tribute to her Yorkshire-born husband, complete with intricate glass beading.

2019 - Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot in the summer of 2019 in the South of France. As you'd expect from such an elegant location, the bride wore an unforgettable dress, designed by Louis Vuitton. It featured a flattering V-neckline, square shoulders and long lace sleeves, with a wide sash belt and an embellished skirt, covered in flower-embroidered tulle and silk gazar with leather satin details.

2018 - Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner

The couple got married in a woodland ceremony just three months after announcing their engagement. Kloss wore a bespoke Dior gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri to walk down the aisle - a beautiful flowing dress with lace sleeves, paired with a classic veil.

2018 - Priyanka Chopra and Joe Jonas

Perhaps one of the most extravagant bridal looks of the last decade, Priyanka Chopra walked down the aisle in a sheer embroidered Ralph Lauren gown with a 75-foot long tulle veil.

2018 - Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie of York wore a striking Peter Pilotto design to marry Jack Brooksbank. The princess felt it was important to show off scars from her childhood surgery - via the gown's low back - something which she previously said she wanted to make a part of her day to show beauty in what she had been through.

2018 - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex

One of the most-watched moments of the decade was the royal wedding ceremony of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In the lead up to the wedding, there was much speculation over who had designed Meghan's dress. She chose to wear Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy Couture - which was arguably one of the most elegant, minimal bridal designs in royal history.

2018 - Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk

The couple tied the knot among close family and friends, with an intimate ceremony held in the back garden of a private home in the Hamptons. Paltrow wore a lace cap-sleeved design by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino with a traditional veil, and in typical style wore her hair in relaxed beach waves. The A-list couple reportedly said their vows with the likes of Cameron Diaz, Steven Spielberg and Robert Downey Jr. playing witness.

2017 - Pippa Middleton and James Matthews

Pippa Middleton, sister to the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a beautiful bespoke Giles Deacon dress for her wedding to James Matthews. Her bridal look featured a Victorian-inspired high neckline, an A-line skirt and a cut-out detail at the back.

2018 - Kate Upton and Justin Verlander

Kate Upton wore a princess-like wedding dress that featured a frothy ball gown with sheer lace sleeves, courtesy of Valentino. The fairy-tale frock was a fitting match for the couple's Tuscan nuptials but, as many brides choose to do, she swapped into a second white dress for her evening reception.

2017 - Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegal

Miranda Kerr revealed that she and Evan Spiegel began their wedding day with yoga to help them relax - but their wedding attire was more classic. The model's beautiful wedding dress took inspiration from a gown worn by Grace Kelly, featuring a full skirt decorated with appliquéd flowers, designed by Dior's Maria Grazia Chiuri.

2015 - Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild

Nicky Hilton wed James Rothschild in a lavish wedding at London's Kensington Palace. The bride wore an extravagant Valentino gown with a long lace veil.

2014 - Kim Kardashian and Kayne West

One of the most talked-about couples, Kim Kardashian and Kayne West, tied the knot in 2014. The bride and groom both dressed in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci for their big day, where they said their vows in the idyllic setting of the Forte di Belvedere in Florence.

Arguably one of the most stylish brides of the decade, Amal Clooney married George Clooney in 2014 at the Aman Canal Grande hotel in Venice. Amal wore a chic white Stella McCartney ensemble for their civil ceremony and pictures were later released of her in an Oscar de la Renta gown crafted from French lace.

Knowles and Ferguson tied the knot in New Orleans in November 2014, where they arrived on matching bikes. The bride wore a caped jumpsuit by Stephane Rolland, before reportedly changing into a dress by Kenzo for the reception. Sadly in 2019 the couple announced their separation, which Knowles confirmed in a heartfelt message on Instagram.

2014 - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt married in an intimate ceremony at their French estate, Château Miraval, in 2014. Jolie looked to one of her go-to fashion houses for the occasion in a silky Atelier Versace gown, paired with a veil that was embroidered with multi-coloured drawings by their children. Jolie and Pitt have since parted ways, announcing their divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage.

Poppy Delevingne and James Cook celebrated their marriage twice; the first wedding took place at London's St Paul's Church with a reception at Kensington Palace Gardens, and was followed by a star-studded affair in Morocco. The bride wore an embroidered Chanel dress by Karl Lagerfeld for the London nuptials, with a delicate sheer floor-length skirt which she then removed for the evening of partying.

2013 - Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend got married in the picturesque setting of Lake Como in 2013. The bride wore an impressive three Vera Wang gowns; first a tulle ball gown (pictured), then a mermaid gown for the reception and finally a statement red dress for the after-party.

She walked down the aisle to marry Jamie Hince in a bespoke John Galliano design, covered in shimmering embroidery. They had a group of sweet bridesmaids and flower girls, also dressed in white, with delicate flower head garlands and bouquets.

Perhaps the most widely discussed and most famous bridal gown of the past decade belonged to Kate Middleton, who wore an Alexander McQueen design by Sarah Burton to become the Duchess of Cambridge. The designer of the dress was kept safely under wraps until the day itself, despite the huge amount of speculation. The design, which featured a full pleated skirt, nipped in bodice and lace sleeves, went on display as part of the Buckingham Palace summer exhibition later that year.
