In what perhaps is an open letter to the youths of today, Diesel's latest campaign is all about celebrating differences and the flaws that makes us unique. Increasingly we see youths obsess over their appearance and change themselves to fit a certain aesthetic or mould, thanks to social media and the deceptive illusion of perfection being portrayed 24/7. But their latest campaign tells us all to take a step back, take a chill pill, and GO WITH THE FLAW.

Directed by François Rousselet, a French director who has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Madonna and The Rolling Stones, the campaign stars a group of unconventional individuals as we glimpse into their lives and how they embrace the "flawed" parts about them that in essence makes them unique. Provocative and contemporary, the film challenges the viewers to question their concept of perfect. It develops into a rebellious roar as these individuals unite at the very end, making the audience realize that in fact, everyone is imperfect. This imperfection shouldn't be stifled or hidden, it should be embraced!

Diesel, as an innovative international lifestyle brand, has always reflected the energy and urban rebellion of youths. In their Fall/Winter collection this year, Diesel takes inspiration from the grunge movement. In line with their GO WITH THE FLAW campaign, the items are mismatched, styled to be disheveled and imperfectly perfect. Lots of patterned pieces and even a gold bomber jacket made for people who want to stand out and be different. The collection encourages matching patterns that are so wrong that it's right. Diesel has also launched 6 new different washes for men and 11 for women, from the premium Slow Indigo, crafted using artisan techniques to super soft JoggJeans. These comfy jeans are all about being comfortable in our skin, hence why they behave like second skin.
