Cara Delevingne, IVE's An Yu-jin And Roman Ease At Fendi Spring/Summer 2024
A tribute to the timeless allure of Rome and elegance in ease.
Rooted in sentimentality and made for the modern woman, Kim Jones' Spring/Summer 2024 Fendi collection embraced the architectural grandeur of Rome and elegance in ease.
The Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain were recast as gigantic sculptures of Fendi handbags that lined the runway. Models walked to Dinah Washington's angelic vocals, conveying a sense of bittersweet nostalgia as they toted the Peekaboo and Baguette, while Origami and First bags were refreshed in new variants, colours and patterns alongside the new Flip bag, a shopper that folds into a clutch.

The duality of female sensibilities and masculine tailoring, coupled with a quiet insouciance, informed everything about the garments: deconstructed knits rendered as asymmetric dresses, folded-over curtain waistbands of tailored trousers, excess fabric on dresses and sweaters, pleated suiting, colour-blocked leather jackets, suede outerwear with snakeskin graphics, and eveningwear paired with tinted gloves—all washed in a colour palette of earthy tones, baby blues, and sunset orange. The FF logo also made appearances on jewellery and clothing.
