As much as the fashion industry has changed over the years, certain things remain the same—we still look to designer’s runway collections for the latest trends. And one of the upcoming trends we’re loving is the head-to-toe beige look. At Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, tastemakers were seen peacocking down the streets in their best beige outfits from Chanel belt bags to The North Face ponchos, and we’ve got to admit, we love it. The trend looks très chic on just about everyone—think of it as the lighter and more contemporary approach to an-black outfit. There are many ways to approach this trend: You could do it with accessories or go all out and invoke your inner fashion editor. Here’s our edit of the 8 must-haves for this trend:

If you’re on the fence about overhauling your wardrobe to suit this trend, our recommendation is to start off with a blazer. You could wear it over a dress, with a pair of jeans or even with a pencil skirt. Double-breasted blazers are great because not only does generally has more details than a prototypical one, it’s also more functional as it has more pockets. If you’re looking for an investment pieces, check out the Blazé Milana Everyday Double-Breasted Wool-Crepe Blazer, $1,610 via net-a-porter. It’s a contemporary take on a traditional double-breasted blazer that’ll look great on everyone.
