Jennifer Aniston's Dior Golden Globes Dress Took 200 Hours To Make
The gown was custom-made for the actress
Jennifer Aniston was one of the most-talked-about guests at the Golden Globes last night—thanks in no small part to her ex-husband Brad Pitt talking fondly about her in a red carpet interview.
She also made headlines for choosing to wear a glittering diamond ring on her engagement finger, and for wearing a stunning Dior Haute Couture gown.
The dress in question was designed by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri and custom-made for the actress in the fashion house's Paris atelier.
Inspired by a piece from Monsieur Dior's archives, the gown featured a strapless ruffled bodice and a nipped-in waist, before cascading out into a full skirt with a voluminous train.

The dress was made of 25 metres of wool silk crêpe and required 200 hours of craftsmanship by three of Dior's expert seamstresses, known as 'petites mains' (which literally translates to small hands).

Aniston was in attendance with her co-stars from The Morning Show—including Reese Witherspoon and Gugu Mbatha Raw—which was nominated for Best Television Drama but lost out to Succession. Aniston and Witherspoon were also nominated for their roles in the Apple TV series.
The pair took to the stage during the evening to present the awards for Leading Actor in a Musical or Comedy (which went to Ramy Youseff for Ramy) and Leading Actor in a Television Limited Series (Russell Crowe for The Loudest Voice).
