Even A-list celebrities suffer wardrobe malfunctions, as Helen Mirren learned last night at the Golden Globes.

Lucky for her, Meryl Streep was there to save the day and helped her repair her dress. The moment went viral, which showed Streep bending down to hold together Mirren’s burgundy Dior gown.

People have praised them for their support and friendship to one another, with one user captioning the moment: “Meryl Streep helping Helen Mirren with her dress? Queens support queens.”

Another user likened the moment to the Devil Wears Prada, where Streep played the iconic character of fashion editor Miranda Priestley.

"Meryl Streep fixing Helen Mirren's dress is such a Miranda Priestley moment #GoldenGlobes," she tweeted.

The actresses were sat together during the awards, with a funny picture of the two being posted to social media, where they appear to be looking at a shoe.

Another clip of the pair circulated during the night, where they reportedly walked out together after they were told they couldn't re-enter the awards show if they left.

For the event, Streep wore a silver metallic gown and Mirren in a Dior Haute Couture design with a dramatic floating skirt.

Mirren was nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress for her performance in Catherine the Great, but lost to Michelle Williams for Fosse/Verdon.

Streep was up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in Big Little Lies, however Patricia Arquette won the accolade for The Act.
