The House of Gucci star has finally returned to New York City after promoting the film in Europe, and her homecoming is already giving us some major fashion moments.
Last night, Gaga was photographed walking in Manhattan while wearing an oversized silver trench coat, custom made by French fashion house Lanvin. She topped the look off with more silver, wearing metallic pumps and dangle earrings.

Later in the night, she was photographed leaving the Ed Sullivan Theater after making an outfit change. The "Rain on Me" singer swapped her Lanvin coat for a black one-shoulder gown by Valentino, featuring an abdomen cutout and a thigh-high leg slit. This time, she accented the look with gold, wearing circle earrings and a different iteration of the same metallic pumps she wore earlier.

Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, a true-crime drama film that follows all the chaos that ensues after Reggiani marries into the Gucci family. Gaga stars opposite Adam Driver, who plays Maurizio Gucci.
During a panel at Deadline's Contenders Film: Los Angeles award-season event, Gaga shared her intense process of figuring out who Reggiani was. (She even wrote an 80-page treatise on Reggiani, dissecting how she manipulated the Gucci family.)
“The great challenge in building this character is there is not a lot of information about Patrizia Gucci before the death of Maurzio Gucci. This was how she became famous to the world,” she said. “I did a lot of intensive almost journalistic type work, where I read mostly exposition about her, watched every single clip of every interview she gave post the murder, for her mannerisms and to be attuned to when she was lying and telling the truth. If you watch enough interviews with someone, you become in tune with their emotional quotient. And she lied, a lot.”
