Valentino Garavani Rockstud Celebrates 10th Anniversary

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Valentino Garavani Rockstud, a recurring embellishment that cuts across the Maison’s universe. The square and cruciform shape, as well the the metallic personality, pay homage to Rome and to the Roman Palazzo, characterised by “bugnato.”

To celebrate this special occasion, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli has launched the Valentino Garavani Rockstud X, a special project that celebrates the iconic Valentino Garavani Rockstud accessories.
A reflection of Piccioli’s vision of identity, inclusivity and community, this project is a collaborative one, featuring other designers giving their own interpretation of the stud.

London-born Craig Green is the first designer to re-interpret the iconic stud with his distinctive aesthetic sensibilities. Green’s has had quite an impressive resume, among which include British Menswear Designer at the Fashion Awards 2016, 2017 & 2018, Menswear Guest Designer at Pitti Uomo 94 in 2018, the BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund prize 2016 and Emerging Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards 2014.
