NCT's Jaehyun, Troye Sivan And Fluid Forms At Prada Men's Spring/Summer 2024
"An examination of fluid architecture, around the human body."
Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons presented a sleek and slimy—yes, slime dripped from the ceiling of a corrugated steel-clad showspace in the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada—collection this season that explored the fluid form and "an absolute freedom of the body".
A new fragility of lightness and softness were brought to wardrobe staples like tailored garments and suiting, raincoats and sportswear. Paired with shorts were shirts with broad shoulders, cinched waists and exaggerated long sleeves that sprouted floral appliqués and were decorated with fringe; utilitarian pockets on parkas and vests were more decorative than merely practical.
Accessories such as headbands and eyewear moulded of singular pieces appeared like captured fragments of motion, while leather bags were soft and plushy. As for shoes, models sported glossy square-toed slip-ons that were futuristic with an easy appeal. Stay tuned for all the looks from the Prada Men's Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
