A Longines Love Story Through Hand Gestures

A Longines Love Story Through Hand Gestures

Spoiler: There's a HydroConquest (or two) involved

He loves her, she loves his watch more. What do you do when your significant other is constantly stealing your favourite timepiece? If you really loved her, you'd get her one of her own. A story of love, passion and light-fingered intrigue, Longines' HydroConquest timepiece finds itself in the middle of a battle of will and wits as it becomes the object of desire for both him and her - with good reason.

Since its launch in 2007, this aqua sports-nature number has remained a firm favourite for its sturdy construction and steely looks that are just at home out on the open waters, as it is beside a loungy pool (not to mention that it fits perfectly under the crisp cuff of a work shirt). The HydroConquest, confidently size at 41mm and 43mm, also features a water resistance of 300m and Super-LumiNova hands, numerals and hour indexes that come in particularly useful when indulging in a spot of scuba diving.

Coupled with the fact that the watch family has been updated this year with coloured ceramic bezels and a choice of dials in Sunray black, grey or blue, and you’ve got yourself a sports-luxe winner that anyone would be happy to get their hands on. Can we blame her for stealing his watch every chance she gets? And now the lucky girl has one to call her own.

Longines' HydroConquest, from $2,390, is available at all Longines boutiques and select watch retailers.
