Perfecting the technical aspects of a watch is one thing but combining it with a provoking aesthetic is a whole other, more difficult, challenge on its own. Of course, that has never stopped Vacheron Constantin from innovating throughout its storied 268-year history with countless collections such as Patrimony, Égérie, Overseas, Traditionelle, Historiques and more, all of which are inspired by geometric shapes.
The expansive three-and-a-half-storey shophouse in the heart of Tanjong Pagar and Outram Park has been converted into a watch collector’s dream with rooms dedicated to the brand’s latest novelties from Watches and Wonders 2024 including the mesmerising Égérie moon phase timepiece in collaboration with artist Yiqing Yin.
This limited edition watch featuring a lilac mother-of-pearl dial was launched with the Égérie–The Pleats of Time, a piece unique concept watch with a haute couture strap infused with a fragrance developed by master perfumer Dominique Ropion.

The other highlights include the new Overseas references with the sunburst green dial and the Patrimony collection celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The three new Patrimony models are quiet luxury must-haves balancing round curves and taut lines, fitted with an antique silver-toned dial and two new strap colours—olive green and azure blue.
Visitors are in for a treat as they venture to the attic where Vacheron Constantin presents a kinetic art sculpture, Le Bonsaï, by Lanzavecchia + Wai, inspired by nature and the manufacture’s horological codes.

Le Bonsaï is a mechanical bonsai-planétaire and requires guests to touch the jewel-like planets surrounding it to set the different branches in motion. A light portal illuminates the bonsai, cycling from dawn to dusk in 10 minutes causing everyone in the room to be transfixed in the most zen way possible, almost frozen in time and space.
