It’s always a good day for the red carpet when Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie decides to make an appearance. But it’s an especially good day when she takes her kids with her.

For the Rome premiere of Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Jolie brought two of her kids—Zahara, 14, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 13—as her dashing dates. Best of all? The family color-coordinated their red-carpet appearance, opting for all-black outfits.

Jolie stunned in a glittering, formfitting gown by Versace with a sweetheart neckline. Zahara followed in her mother’s footsteps, opting for the same designer with a wispy halter-top dress with an ombré that faded from black at the top to a sage-green shade beneath the waist. Meanwhile, Shiloh looked suave in a zip-up jacket with faded gold and silver stripes running horizontally, and paired the jacket with classic trousers.

At the Los Angeles premiere of the Maleficent sequel, Jolie was joined on the red carpet by all of her kids, except for her eldest, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, who is currently studying biochemistry at South Korea’s Yonsei University. Although Maddox is far from home, he flew out to reunite with his mother and sister Zahara at the Tokyo premiere last week.

At the Los Angeles premiere, Jolie told Extra that she was excited to see Maddox again after tearfully dropping him off at the South Korea campus.

“He’s good,” Jolie said, according to People. “But he’s flying to meet me in Japan. So I am two days from my hug. […] He’s great. I know he is solid, he’s fine, but I need it.”
