Mere hours after giving birth to her third child, a baby boy, the Duchess of Cambridge is leaving St Mary’s Hospital. Donning a red dress with a lace Peter Pan collar, Kate Middleton is glowing, with her hair down in loose waves and her makeup subtle, accompanied by her husband Prince William. The dress closely mirrors the red dress Princess Diana wore when she exited the hospital after giving birth to her second son Prince Harry. It shares not only the same hue, but a white contrasting collar as well. In keeping with the style of the mid-1980s however, Diana’s dress came complete with bold shoulder pads. Kate has a history of twinning with her husband’s deceased mother, with the two sharing a penchant for elegant high-fashion looks.
