Protestors were surprised on Saturday when they spotted Madonna marching alongside them during a Black Lives Matter protest in London.

The pop superstar was using two crutches, after sustaining injuries during her Madame X tour. Madonna didn't wear a mask during the protest, instead opting for a pair of sunglasses. However, she was still instantly recognizable, and her support of the protest seemed to buoy the spirits of fellow protestors.

Madonna was filmed chatting to activists, and she also joined in with a chant, and could be heard shouting, "No justice, no peace."

Madonna has shared multiple posts on Instagram supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, and has encouraged her followers to donate to the George Floyd Memorial Fund. Following Floyd's death, Madonna posted an emotional response on Instagram. She wrote,

"Watching this Cop suffocate George Floyd with his knee on his neck, handcuffed and helpless, crying for his life with his face in the street is the most sickening, heartbreaking thing ive seen in a long time. This Officer knew he was being filmed and murdered him with arrogance and Pride. This has to stop!! Until we can over come Racism in America— no one should be allowed to carry a gun. Most of all cops. God Bless you George Floyd Im so sorry for you and your family. And all the senseless killings that have gone before you. Will it ever end? 🙏🏼 I pray to GOD it does one day."
