Nicki Minaj Is Officially A Mom, Welcomes First Child With Husband Kenneth Petty

Nicki Minaj is a mother! The superstar rapper has welcomed her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, reported People magazine.
After announcing her pregnancy in July, Minaj reportedly gave birth on September 30 in Los Angeles to her first child. As of now, the new parents have yet to confirm the baby news, gender, and child's name.
Minaj first revealed her pregnancy with two over-the-top Instagram posts featuring the then mom-to-be posing in some serious sartorial creations. In one photo, the rapper wore a vibrant yellow curly-bob wig and a crystal-embellished bikini top, multicoloured eye shadow, and sky-high platform stiletto heels. Minaj captioned the post with a simple declaration of the news, writing, "Preggers."

In the other image, the star cradled her bump while posing in a lace-trimmed, puff-sleeve crop top, matching garter-style bottoms, and sheer lace stockings, with her hair in a pastel-blue twisted bun.

Born Onika Tanya Maraj, Minaj married Petty last October after about a year of dating. She revealed the wedding news to fans with an Instagram video featuring bride-and-groom hats and mugs.
"Nicki feels so blessed right now," a source told BAZAAR.com at the time of her big announcement. "She wanted to become a mom for so long—she prayed hard—and now it’s happening. She’s just the happiest woman right now. And so excited for the day she gets to meet him or her."
