For the audience, Kate appropriately dressed in head-to-toe navy. Sophisticated as ever, she wore a fitted blazer with matching pleated pants and suede pumps in the same hue. She styled the suit over a white wrap top and accessorized with a black leather belt and delicate jewelry: a gold-and-navy necklace, matching gold drop earrings, and her sapphire engagement ring.

The princess's hair was styled in soft waves, and she wore natural makeup.

Kate was given the title of Princess of Wales by King Charles III upon Queen Elizabeth's death earlier this month. The title carries much weight, as it once belonged to Princess Diana. Prince William also received a title change, becoming the Prince of Wales, a title previously held by his father, the new sovereign.

Following the queen's passing, Kate and William are expected to carry out more and more royal engagements, and will be spending much time in Wales. William even revealed he's learning Welsh in an effort to more genuinely connect with the people of the country.
