"I have an abnormal number of sweat pants. They are coming in very handy during self-isolation. I have learned just how much laundry my family and I generate daily during this quarantine."

"There is a pile of books beside my bed. I can’t seem to get through a whole book right now but I started a book club with some of my girlfriends to motivate me more. I read an amazing book called We are the Weather by Johnathan Safran Foer which gave me clarity on our current climate emergency."

3. I'm cooking...

"Cereal? Does that count?"

4. I'm watching...

"I am currently self-medicating with The Great British Bake Off. I love the food, the whimsically sweet characters and the accents that bring me right back to my own mum’s kitchen. I could watch Prue be delighted by flavours all day. Oh, and Stumptown, see what I did there?"

"Just about every morning I go downstairs and scream at my Alexa speaker to play “Mellow Folk”. A playlist comes up that is made up of mostly James Taylor, Jack Johnson and Joni Mitchell. I am also listening to the Revisionist History podcast and The Big Ones podcast on my morning runs."

6. The apps I'm using the most...

"I have never been more social while at my home due to the Houseparty app. I am also re-learning how to play the piano and found a great app called Simply Piano.

7. How I've been keeping entertained...

"I find going outside for a walk or a bike ride is always helpful; getting outside in the world (with a two-metre distance of course). There is also a constant puzzle that needs to be completed on our dining table and we are very big on board games.

"I think it is important to give yourself something to look forward to. I have a standing Zoom once a week with girlfriends and a Trivia night with some other buds on the weekend. Or I just anticipate our daily Happy Hour.

"I have also been getting up early in the mornings because I am finding that when home-schooling children, it is vital to get some alone time. So, I get up with the sun and go for a run or do a home yoga practice. I am exercising for my mental health not for abs."

8. The new project I've started...

"I have a garden in my back yard and I’ve become quite obsessive. I pace above my home garden willing things to grow. It turns out that vegetables take a long time. There’s something about watching the plants develop that I find incredibly satisfying. If you don’t have a place to plant in a yard you can do a kitchen garden."

9. How I've been feeling less anxious...

"The best way to help relieve anxiety for me during this time is to help others. To find a local business to rally behind, to show your appreciation for our healthcare workers, shopping for the elderly, or donating to your local food bank. This is a bizarre time in our history and we have the chance to use it as an opportunity to better ourselves and the community around us. I focus on the things I get to do, not the things that I can’t. But if you need a quick fix I suggest a spontaneous dance party to any Lizzo song."

Stumptown premieres in the UK on 22 April.
