Inspiring women surround us everywhere from members of own families, to "Women Who Dare" like Jane Fonda and Patrisse Khan-Cullors of Black Lives Matter, to models tackling fashion's diversity problem like Precious Lee and Candice Huffine, and beyond.

To give you a dose of feminist inspiration, we rounded up some of our favorite celebrity Instagrams for International Women's Day 2019.

Angela Bassett

The Oscar-winning leading lady wears her support for IWD on her back in a classic white cotton t-shirt with a philanthropic twist. 100 percent of the profits from the sale of this shirt (and the five others available on Net-a-Porter) will be donated to Women for Women International, a non-profit in the UK that supports female survivors of war to rebuild their lives.

Emma Watson

We grew up with Emma Watson and know her as Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter film series. In the years since, the actress has become a feminist icon for her fellow millennials. Back in 2014, the Brown University alumna and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador gave an epic speech about gender pay equality while she promoted HeForShe.

Today, the 28-year-old posted two photos with inspiring captions on Instagram in honor of today. Her second, and lengthier message encourages Brits to vote that Prime Minister Theresa May guarantees sustained funding for rape crisis support services.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande posted a photo of her team and expressed hopes that women are celebrated today and every day. "happy ‘everyday is international women’s day’ 🐈 love, the swt family," she wrote.

Reese Witherspoon

We know and adore Witherspoon from classic films such as Cruel IntentionsLegally Blonde, and Walk The Line, which won her an Oscar. However, we also adore that this multitalented actress supports female empowerment. Reese's lifestyle line Draper James is donating a quarter of the profits from the brand's "Sisterhood" collection to Girls Inc., a non-profit that promotes mentorship and research-based programming to help cultivate the next generation of educated female leaders.

On the Eve of IWD, Reese took to her Instagram Story to shout out Brie Larson and her upcoming Captain Marvel film which is in theaters today.

Annie Lenox

The legendary artist and activist Annie Lenox is using the power of social media to help raise awareness about the global injustices women and girls face in society. You can join her by taking a picture of yourself with a reason why you for fight global gender inequality, and post it on social media with the hashtag #OneReasonWhyImAGlobalFeminist.

Lennox also used her IG to share an Apple Music video campaign featuring Ed Sheeran, Mary J. Blige, Dua Lipa and more talent on fighting for global feminism.

One video shows her singing with Grande dressed in adorable animal onesies; another is a throwback to her speech at Variety’s Power Of Women awards, where she represented her Happy Hippie Foundation.

Hillary Clinton

HRC champions a cornerstone feminist pillar, a woman's right to choose, so it's unsurprising that for IWD she posted a message about the issue to her Instagram Story.

"Important legislation introduced yesterday: The Reproductive Rights Are Human Rights Act would correct the Trump administration's dangerous decision to remove reporting on reproductive rights from the State Department's annual reports on human rights practices around the world," she wrote.

Kendall Jenner

The model teased that ZaZa World, her Beats 1 radio show, is dropping a playlist featuring only female artists exclusively on Apple Music. We have a feeling plenty of Beyoncé will appear on Jenner's setlist.

Priyanka Chopra

The actress paid a tribute to her favourite inspirational women and their words to live by. The video ended with: "Happy Women's Day! Let's be proud of ourselves not just today but every day for everything that we do."
